Gasthaus Steinerkogl

it took some time, but on our last trip to mayrhofen we finally flew around the stones. we took the simplest route up there – the local bus to brandberg, and then a steady uphill, along the road until they see the steinerkogl before them. there are other, strenuous stretches when they have the energy! Originally, as it was warm, and the intention is truly spectacular, we sat on the terrace overlooking mayrhofen, and ordered some drinks, and a bit lunch. my wife chose a coffee and cake, I went for a refreshing rookie. my daughter ordered some fries and could have shared them with her brother (also eat cake to eat, I chose the imperial smarn. after she had never before, but the idea of a plate...

we went a lot all morning and this place was on our way and considered a scheduled lunch break. when we arrived and took a place on the outside, the place looked out when it was a little out, but someone soon appeared...and brought the chair cushion and a few more migrating came busy so quickly. the main feature of eating here is that when they are on the balcony it has only a fantastic view over mayrhofen right down and the valley in every direction. we had both a few drinks as well as wine carvings and chips that were good, and I had the twirl pink roasts that the tiroler style steak was in gravy with veg and kartoffels, that was just the kind I needed after going and ideally washed down w...

drinks are available on the terrace of the mountain guest house steinerkogl. the view was amazing as the terrace overlooked the valley and the surroundings. the service was excellent and very friendly, the restaurant was spotlessly clean. the food looked and melted wonderfully, but to this occasion we had just finished a lunch package earlier. we would like to come back to mayrhofen at our next visit to taste the food.

Admittedly, people probably wont travel to Steinerkogl just foor the food. But in combination with the wonderful setting, the unbeatable panoramic views and the homely service the dishes at Steinerkogl aren't half-bad at all ! In sunny weather you can eat outoors on the terrasse...and enjoy the wonderful view of the valley, Mayerhofen and the mountain tops.

what a good idea! it is worth coming here if you can. had something to eat, which was excellent and the people there are very friendly.
