Gasthaus Stiegl

We got noticed on this place by our hostelier, it is a truely hidden gem in the small village of Mieming. Their signature dish is the "Schweinhackseln", which you have to order in advance but which is absolutely delicious! But the other meals from the menu are great as well. The prices are very reasonable and the setting is authentic Austrian. The family who owns the place does the serving as well and are very, very friendly. Kids are welcome.

45 Jahre Stammgast, bis in die nächste Generation, sagt wohl alles. Gemütlicher Dorfgasthof mit fantastischem Essen, welches sich in der Qualität nicht vor dem Platzhirschen verstecken muss. Im Gegenteil. Ich freue mich jedesmal wieder auf gutes Essen dort, wenn ich in der Nähe bin.

I live nearby and come here for dinner every other month or so. The menu is simple but the food is home-made and consistently very tasty. If you are not deterred by the slightly shabby decor, have some plain fare and join the locals' discussions (that is, if you speak Tyrolean).

Sehr gutes Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Für Kinder gibt es auch was zu spielen und das Essen für die Kinder ist auch schnell fertig. Hier kann man immer wieder einkehren.

waren auf der durchreise mit dem womo. konnten auch hier nächtigen. Sehr gute Hausmannskost. Alles frisch zubereitet. Preis/Leistung alles fair. Kommen bestimmt wieder. Lg
