We ate here for my birthday after having tried to get a place at Pritzlwirt. The chef there recommended this establishment. And it was an incredible alternative. Situated next the Salzach riverbed, this is a homely restaurant serving fresh, seasonal meals. My wife had tender lamb filets in thyme sauce with potatoes and green beans (for 13!!! Euro). I had an impressive Rumpsteak with home-made herb butter, well-seasoned vegetables and fries. We were really blessed to have come here and eaten such hearty food. Also, great service and excellent value-for-money. We even sat with locals (because it was so full) who told us that they always go there to eat out. As they say: you never go wrong if you go where the locals go. Agreed!
