Our evening at Gasthaus Waltz was once again a complete success all of our friends were thrilled with the delicious, seasonally inspired and pre Christmas dishes. The Waltz team impresses with authentic Austrian charm, warm hospitality and attentive politeness from reception to farewell. In particular, the loving gesture of taking jackets and coats and handing them back as you leave does not seem artificial at all, but simply stylish and timeless. Every course from the starters to the dessert was not only a pleasure for the taste buds, but also for the eyes. We celebrated a birthday there and were pampered so much from start to finish. The service is quick, courteous, forward-looking and very patient and unusually friendly for Munich standards. The individual dishes on the menu are also exciting. Whether cauliflower or beetroot, the kitchen takes well-known ingredients and refines them with surprising culinary twists. Without losing your grip on the ground. Great taste. And I've never eaten better pork cheeks; at Letscho the kitchen took the pains to peel the peppers. The dessert was simply heavenly. Great wines, the non-alcoholic aperitif made from quince and verbena is recommended. Best Viennese/Austrian level on the Isar.

Great Austrian themed restaurant in Munich. Spectacular food with fresh and local ingredients. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Extensive wine list and chilled atmosphere. We were very satisfied and will return.

Had an amazing experience here! The service was so good, the wine and the food was super! If anyone would ask for a restaurant recommendation in Munich I would say Gasthaus Waltz every day!!

The restaurant is cozy and modern at the same time we really liked that. Our food was excellent and the wine selection is large. I also liked that there was a cheap Veltliner. Canvas!
