Mal wieder auf Dienstreise nach Trier und mit ner Kollegin deftig Mittagessen, das war unser Plan, der aber ins "Öl" fiel!!!Ziemlich früh, so gegen 11:45 Uhr angekommen, fiel uns sofort auf, daß die meisten Tische frei waren. Drin wie draußen herrschte gähnende Leere. Nun gut, noch etwas früh. Wir nahmen draußen Platz und fragten ob wir vor der Hauptspeise noch eine Frühlingssuppe mit Ei bekommen könnten. Klar, hieß es. Was dann aber gebracht wurde, entpuppte sich als gares Gemüse ohne Geschmack in einer Öltunke OHNE Ei. Ok, wir angelten das Gemüse aus dem Öl und ließen die Brühe stehen. the first comment is that the bathroom has no outside door! that means that the only door they have is inside the shower room that leaves them with a really very small place to take a shower nowhere to hang their clothes or towel. then. put your showers ready and have to go outside to take your towel and your clothes, but there is no door and everyone in the curse can see you! Maybe that's a nudistic place and I didn't notice it before. the WORST part: when I arrived, a rude guy asked me if I was Italian. when I said no, he agreed to stay!? and just put a spray of alcohol for hands in front of me and committed me to use thanks, but my mother gave me enough training and I would have used this...
Kann die vorherigen Bewertungen nicht ganz verstehen, denn sie decken sich nicht mit meinem Genusserlebnis, vielleicht hat der Chef ja die Hinweise ernst genommen. Dann sollte es aber mehr positives Feedback geben. Habe hier eine ambitionierte Küche an mehreren Abenden erlebt, eine nette Bedienung die auch mal lacht und es stimmt, einmal kam alles sofort, dann hat es eine halbe Stunde gedauert, dafür waren die Portionen aber auch sehr groß und die Qualität im Verhältnis zum Preis in Ordnung, nicht mehr nicht weniger. Ich würde hier guten Gewissens herkommen und falls ich Familie hätte auch mal zu einem der vielen Events kommen. Steak probiere ich auch noch aus, der scampiabend hat mir nicht...
Came to Southern Germany from Hawaii and this Gasthaus was recommended by a friend. I was not disappointed, from the moment I checked in I was treated like a local and not a tourist. My German is not good by any means but that didn't bother the staff. The food in the restaurant is authentic and a wonderful meal for a reasonable price. I toured the areas around Trier and the city itself but, for 4 days always came back to the restaurant for dinner and it never disappoints and rivals the food anywhere in town. Wir haben im Gasthaus Wollscheid auch gewohnt, und nach einem langen Tag in Trier haben wir uns entschieden, dort auch zu essen.Das Wetter war gut und so kamen wir in den Genuss, auf der Terrasse unter Bäumen die tolle Aussicht genießen zu können. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Auswahl reicht von deftiger Küche bis hin zu bunten Salattellern, und das Personal war trotz wirklich viel Betrieb sehr freundlich und prompt. Keinerlei Stress war zu merken - ein sehr entspannter, gelungener Abend.
this pension is only 1/2 hours to walk from the train station is far enough from the city to be peaceful, the staff is all very welcoming. I came 2 hours earlier than normal review in the time not a problem housed me immediately not a...feat in cash all very high standard. will definitely book for just €37 per night for a single room, the only part shared shower toilets, but room all kept on a high standard.
Wir waren eine Zeitlang sehr oft zum Essen hier, auch im Sommer auf der Terrasse.Das Essen war gut, nichts besonderes, die Portionen großzügig der Service meist freundlich.Irgendwann hatten wir hatten wir aber den Eindruck es würde alles nachlassen, lieblos ohne Geschmack und mit unmotiviertem Personal.Vielleicht wird es ja mal wieder besser, dann werden wir auch gerne wiederkommen...
the restaurant is surprisingly very good and quite expensive. we are so happy with the carvings we ordered. the staff and the owner are very friendly. it seems full of the local in restaurant and it is very busy all day. hotel room. are somewhat outdated, but very clean, spacious and quiet. I would definitely recommend.

the visit from here and the food is good, and the carvings the best. service always friendly, but sometimes a problem with English speaking. it's a pity that they don't have a menu in a foreign language. sometimes very busy, so they must be patient, but it is worth waiting.
welcome with sun terrace, and excellent french fries and schnitzel. Good service. Place to recommend for anyone.
