the place itself is very close to the river. it is a beautiful house with a very cozy and typical Austrian interior without being sticky. the personal wore traditional dirndl and was very friendly. the food options. were no options. a single vegan meal in a sea of meat and fish, but the dish was really good and affordable too. I had the kicherbsen with nice (which should actually be a pumpkin risotto, but I had nothing against it) and it looked stunning and tasted really good. I was eating here in the back of a Christmas party. large selection of food (the decision was heavy,) nice, energetic staff. there is also a selection of regional fruit juices, which I would call tasty highlight. also with my pumpkinrisotto I was fully satisfied, extra requests were accepted without any trouble and with ease. I'd like to come back.
we've been going for decades, it always tastes. everyone finds something on the map, the Austrian classics are well represented, and there are always new modified. occasions and celebrations are also a good reason for the kohlstatt, but must be reserved in time.
a very good house with sympathetic hosts. the chef cooks himself. also larger companies are not a problem, best service and excellent, clear map. there are also catering. :) we always like to visit.
