It was once THE place for first-class steaks on the mountain road. After today's visit (20.8.17), we must consider this as a story. The map, one side, contained standard dishes that would have been good for every quick snack. A hunter carving with finished sauce and two spoons full of pommes without supplement salad for 12,50 € are simply a freak. Especially when you are visiting there with the above-mentioned expectation from previous visits (2016). Too bad, a good place less.
Very good German cuisine of the old school. Very good price performance ratio. Operation friendly, professional. The map is manageable but sufficient, there are also day offers, so everyone should find something. The ambience is a bit old-fashioned, but fits into the overall picture that you can feel comfortable. We'll get everybody back. We don't go to the Odenwald anymore for good home cooking. why go away when the good is so close.
we are going to be in the adler / obs to the kerb in forgeberg - may be good bourgeois or between through on a delicious garlic steak . we are always very satisfied. price - performance we are always happy if we also spontaneously get a little bit for a tasty eating

this hospital is already over 60 years, for native it is an institution. the menu has typical local dishes, lovingly prepared. in the summer you can also take outside in a spacious hof place. a visit is always worth this house.
Whenever we were in the inn to the eagle in the summer or winter it was cozy and very saturating! Too bad it's over. All the best of the hospitality!

Best duck ever..... homemade red herb, delicious dumplings, great sauce! honest, hessian cuisine. Just great.
