This was our Thanksgiving dinner and it was just lovely. We got a wonderful amuse bouche (trout mousse) to start with and then a very nice spin on the typical German staple appetizer (kleiner gemischter Salat/small mixed salad). It had some wonderful curried carrot salad, great lamb's lettuce and different dressings and flavors for each of the salads. My main course was a gnocchi dish and the gnocchi were excellent. Just the right sort of light buttery texture. My husband had the schnitzel and my Dad really enjoyed his duck. My Mom ordered schnitzel hunter style and she could not finish, the portions were simply to large. While the schnitzel dishes are very typical (you may even think boring...
Both for an intimate dinner, as well as for the family, this is a great restaurant , with a lot of choice and good service. Make sure you book on time, so that you can get a table in the main section. Otherwise you may end up in the back room, which sometimes is less cosy.
Vielen Dank! Speisen und Trank von sehr guter Qualität, wir sind mit großen Erwartungen gekommen, die dann übertroffen wurden. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend, das Ambiente sehr gemütlich und entspannt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen den Kranz gerne weiter.
Waren heute zum ersten mal hier essen und wurden positiv überrascht. Hatten einen leckeren Salat als Vorspeise, eine Suppe danach und zum Hauptgang leckere Garnelen mit Reis. Portionen waren gut. Auch der Nachtisch war sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The food is very delicious. But the portion sizes are very clear in relation to the price. For a small handful of Rucola salad with grapes unfortunately with kernels) 12,50€ is not appropriate from my point of view.
Desaster, absolutely not recommended completely overpriced with mini portions. Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. But prices do not justify taste. Service: Dine in
Food was very good, service a little slow but we had requested an English speaking waiter as there were a few questions we wanted to ask.
