the high-rise to the cross is located in the district high-rise houses of the common Biederbach oberbiederbach on the l 101 direction schuttertal drive on the left side of the road. the house is set a little back so that there is enough parking space, from outside the house makes a bit of a day impression, but when they are in the gastronomy, they are pleasantly surprised by the rural aura of the möblierung and they feel very comfortable. the restaurant device is self-contained and tuned; I also noticed the cleanliness in the restaurant. the menu is regionally oriented and rich. Above all, black forests are offered kitchen and the hearty vesper plate, sausage or bart cheese with bratkartoffels taste delicious. the restaurant is also very suitable for family celebrations baptism, community, confirmation, weddings etc. in drinks there is the usual repertoire as in all good bourgeois restaurants. the house also has for overnight in simple triple, two- and one-bedded rooms. these are ideal for hikers who, for example, candelhöhenweg approx. 110 km to several places from oberkirch to Freiburg to walk to stay there. next to the guest house there is also a large hiking park. from here you can make wonderful hikes into the nearer environment, e.g. to the shutter source and much more. there is also a bus stop for the public transport means, so that the high-rises can also be approached by elzach or lahr with public buseses. the opening hours of the house are: mi. fr. from 11:00 18:30 clock and so. 10:00 21:00 clock. mo. and di. are rest days. a return there they do not have to regret, as the host and the kitchen prepare a pleasant stay. today on 03.08.2011 I visited the gas house cross again on my hike over the candelhöheweg from dürrhöfen to high-rises and was pleasantly surprised by the temporary renovation of the restaurants. so that the house has been missed a beautiful bright note and a beautiful wood veranda is built on the side, where they sit comfortably on rustic wooden tables with chairs and have a great view of the nearby black forest heights. also eating has made a good step forward after keeping it with taste and quality. see how it is at the next stay; maybe then five stars are possible. the persoanl was as always very attentive, friendly and towards the hospitable. despite the investment of the economy in its high-rise, the price /leisutngsrat is still consistent. I look forward to a new one.
