Gasthaus zur Linde

the very kind peculiarities, and their equally motivated staff, is the first to stout when entering this cater institution. the second, the most traditional device, with the exception of a very tastefully modernized room. now to the main players, to eat and drink: best Austrian home cooking, like white carving from the swarm with perfectly souffed panier, gedünsteter wobelrostbraten, or on the ever-changing map, the almost forgotten, or partly unknown old-fashioned back meat, which can be eaten in how rarely the same or better, are offered here. also recommend the rich lunch menus. the offered is rounded off by monthly or seasonal changing beer varieties, and for a live house, very good wine offer. also pleased that you can offer individual soft drinks in magnum flax. short and good a lively house where you should have been both a culinary tourist and a local. after the motto: "very recommended." small tipp: the reservation of a table cannot be a mistake in the always well visited local.

arrived locally we got a nice table and a children's chair. shortly after the order, the drinks were also on the table and, although not ordered, a glass with water and straw for our little ones.As the main dish we ordered meat dumplings, table lace and meat laberl with fresh cheese filling. as a dessert there was a home (rhababer/Topfen/Nussboden) and coffee. the foods were all of very good quality and preparation.The price/performance ratio was in order.The facility was cozy, at the beginning of our visit we would have wished quietly behindground music, but after other guests came, this was no longer necessary due to the noise.Our conclusion is that we would like to visit the "gasthaus zur linde" again at our next visit to wels.

First prize: the room has a non-smoking room. Since in the very civil austria it is still not forbidden to smoke in public places, the thing helps to get a good dinner! The kitchen is excellent, as the availability of typical dishes. A little bit scary. Beer on average (to be in Austria!). The room is well furnished and welcoming. punctual and friendly service. Great value for money. Unique neo: I paid the check to the case where the manager (I suppose it was him) comes with cigarette in the mouth and long nails and lerce. certainly not a nice picture for a clean and pleasant place.

Very basic food, service poor and rushed. We had to go and ask the waiter for the dessert menu once we finished our meal. Very limited with selection of Juices as member of our group could not drink alcohol. No English menu. Plus the room was very smoky so not a pleasant dining experience

hausmannskost top, map very deft ind bottom. probably the only local I know that does not serve pommes.Quality perfect. ambiente ok and suitable.
