Gasthof Aschlandhof

We spent a wonderful holiday in the beautiful area of Aschland. The Aschlandhof is very dog friendly, our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. I really appreciated the hard, quality mattress! The surrounding is absolutely amazing, mountains everywhere you look and the air is fresh. You can start hikes right from outside of the building. A very big plus that we could bring our dog to the restaurant area (this is really not the case in every ‘dog friendly’ hotels with us and the staff were friendly with our dog too.: The breakfast was nice and the dinner super tasty. Great friendly hotel. We spend our night here travailing back to Holland. The views are great form the room and the beds are comfortable and clean. The restaurant is great and proper Austrian with really generous portions. Same goes for the breakfast. The hotel staff is really friendly. I would defiantly recommend to stay here for your over night or longer as the scenery is amazing.

We were welcomed by our charming ladyhost, who served us drinks on the terrace with the beautiful view over the mountains. Then we could make a choice from the menu, and we had a fantastic meal! After a good night rest in the spacious appartment, we ended our stay with a very complete breakfast. We hope to visit Aschlandhof again!

Proper Austrian fare, very well prepared and reasonably priced. In a wonderful location, with friendly, attentive and quick staff.

Great food, great view! Fish and meat vegetables were delicious. Typical and well cooked with a lot of coulours.
