The menu was typical Austrian which I liked unfortunately what was served up was as far from typical of the country. My own Baurenschmause was just about acceptable but the rindsgulash was an utter disgrace at approx. £14 per person for my wife and sister...in law. The meat was beef shin which is not a problem if cooked long enough but it was not in this case which meant it could simply not be chewed through as it was as tough as leather. The sauce which ought to have been flavoursome was bland in the extreme. On complaining we were told this is how it is done in Austria a complete lie. positively the location and the fact that it is quite economical, for the rest small rooms in which, in some cases, there is not even the place to rest the suitcase. breakfast with sandwiches and jam some sliced, the dinner with fixed appetizer( tomatoes, carrots, cerates, mais etc.) consommé, a unique dish, a dessert. spicy dishes, very tasty, suitable for those who have no stomach problems. For the rest it seems more than staying in a dog's pension than in an ordinary hotel. who does not like the presence of fido take into account, because dogs of all sizes are allowed.
the gasthof batzenhäusel has already come into the years. pictures show the local in the flowering period. it was the gaudilokal. the service was friendly and upcoming. the waiting period for the food was optimal. the food convinced us full. this is a perfect price/performance ratio. the local made a clean impression on me. the payment process was correct. the greeting as well as the farewell was friendly and nice. we can recommend this locally.

the small brother of the holiday hotel Kaltschmid. it is still a bit more cozy and family, as it is a whole piece smaller. you feel as part of the cold smid, as in the other accommodations. the panoramic swimming pool, as well as all other spa offers of the holiday hotel can be used. also here are the rooms cozy, clean and rustic.
