The menu was typical Austrian which I liked unfortunately what was served up was as far from typical of the country. My own Baurenschmause was just about acceptable but the rindsgulash was an utter disgrace at approx. £14 per person for my wife and sister...in law. The meat was beef shin which is not a problem if cooked long enough but it was not in this case which meant it could simply not be chewed through as it was as tough as leather. The sauce which ought to have been flavoursome was bland in the extreme. On complaining we were told this is how it is done in Austria a complete lie. positively the location and the fact that it is quite economical, for the rest small rooms in which, in some cases, there is not even the place to rest the suitcase. breakfast with sandwiches and jam some sliced, the dinner with fixed appetizer( tomatoes, carrots, cerates, mais etc.) consommé, a unique dish, a dessert. spicy dishes, very tasty, suitable for those who have no stomach problems. we stayed there attracted by the beautiful sunny terrace, but we did not find any significant quality in what we tasted. the service was cold. we do not recommend.
