Fischtagginger-Wirt is situated in beautiful countryside next to the lake at Wallersee a short distance from the small town of Seekirchen. The restaurant not only boasts fantastic views that are well worth seeing at any time of the year but great traditional Austrian Cuisine. The restaurant has been owned and run by the Weindl family for over 25 years and you should expect to see members of the family who take a keen interest in ensuring that your visit is enjoyable.The restaurant is beautifully presented and offers seating both inside and out with views that make a visit worthwhile.Expect your visit to be an authentic Austrian dining experience and leave plenty of time to enjoy it.Fischtagginer-Wirt is open from 10:00am to 24:00 except October to March when it opens from 16:00. It is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.You can just drop in or make a reservation via the website or by telephone.
Truly perfect – the garden in summer, the atmosphere inside the restaurant (typical Austrian), the amazingly friendly waiters / owners, the food,…. I just like all about it.They serve seasonal dishes, all fresh and made with love. If you go there in summer, enjoying a cold beer in the garden and have a snack or in winter for a delicious Schnitzel and a Kaiserschmarrn – it’s always the right time to go there. With family or friends, with a big group, young or old – this restaurant just suits every situation.
