Arrived here on the most auspicious Sunday evening with Germany playing in the World cup final as a result of which this restaurant along with most of the rest in town were closing early. The Gasthof is situated on the outskirts of town and also serves as a local for my wife's friends' son and family who leave nearby in walking distance. The restaurant is warm dark traditional and friendly with huge portions. My wife and her friend each had the Wienerschnitzel which proved too much for them delicious as it was and I was forced to assist them in finishing the main. We were there with three people. Service very friendly and pleasant. The food was delicious. However, the chicken meat in the fried noodles made the impression rather than it was form meat. No texture. I found the Vietnamese noodle soup with beef very well. And the duck was great. At the Riesling I think I didn't get a Riesling (the typical tingling was missing). However, it can also have been found in storage, or the too hot serving temperature of the wine. Well, it tasted great. For five points, it would have to be even more consistent for me. We've been here for two tonight and have eaten spontaneously. Very friendly service, for the price very good food. No comparison to the otherwise so Glutamat-infested food from the Chinese corner. Spicy sauces, crisp vegetables and the Vietnamese spring rolls are the hammer. Absolute recommendation from us.
Ate here with a group recently, and I was most impressed with the restaurant. The menu has a really wide selection, and I was so pleased to see lamb on the menu. I had lamb shank, and it was very tasty.The service was really friendly and efficient.

Etwas abseits der Touristenströme in einem Wohngebiet gelegen. traditionelles Allgäuer Wirtshaus mit angenehmer Atmosphäre.Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonders! GrossePortionen und nicht teuer.Sehr schön de Biergarten im Sommer.
Very nice staff, super tasty food, no (as in Sonthofen unfortunately again and again) discrimination from people who do not wear muzzle! Top! We're coming back! It's still thought.
Very good food. We'll be there two times on holiday because it was very leaky. Friendly and nice staff. You're welcome. One of the best restaurants in Sonthofen, if not the best.
