Gasthof Hammer - Reservar una mesa

This place may not look like much from the outside, but it is absolutely delicious! The service was quick, the beer was cold, the food was hot and tasty. What else could you want? We were visiting friends at Rose Barracks so if you are in the area, this place is only a short distance away and worth eating off the base. The cheese spatzle was literally one of the best I've had this whole trip, and I wish I ordered a second one just to take home and eat again the next day! Lots of free street parking right out front the restaurant, but it definitely fills up. There are both German and English menus available. A must try for authentic German food!

Great place, great service and good food....stopped in late one evening and had a really good meal. Visiting this country but would definitely come back to this restaurant.
