Mr Pospisil creates his on menus which are superb value for money. His unique style and quality are that of a Michelin Chef. Top Notch with a great wine list of locals or overseas. If you are traveling in the region Baden/Alsace onto Basel it...is min of the Autobahn exit Buehl so go and try it. Has Hotel attached should you need a place to stay overnight. Very welcoming staff loads of languages spoken so you feel right at home. Enjoy the Black Forrest, Spas of Baden-Baden, wine tasting in neighbouring villages and his fantastic cuisine.
Fabulous meal in this restaurant run by a family that speaks limited English. From what i understood the father was a chef for an Olympic team from Slovakia. They left to live in Germany at some point. We ended up here on a long drive...from the Rhine castle area headed for Lucerne, but got tired and found this one and only inn and gastronomic gem. We normally eat a plant based diet, but that was not an option here, and since there was no where else open to eat, we splurged and enjoyed a fine German meal.
We were on our way back from Switzerland and got hungry at lunch time. With the help of the navigation system of our car and the help of the Internet, we selected this restaurant only a few minutes from the Autobahn. The restaurant, which goes...with a hotel, is located in a village and is nicely decorated. We had starters and main dish. I had as starter cheese cake in a crust. The main dish was beef cheeks. All really yummy. The ambiance and the other guests were nice.
The restaurant is located in the city “center” of Buehl. Parking is possible without problem. The interior is decorated like a standard German restaurant, nothing fancy but functional. We have been there on Boxing Day and got offered a glass of local sparkling wine. The...food is very German too but everything is freshly cooked and yummy. The service is friendly and fast.
