Fantastic just brilliant. Me and my wife arrived at the hotel to meet up with my family. On arrival we had a lovely warm greeting and was shown to our room by the manager Gabby. As me and my wife smoked we asked if it...was possible to.change to a room with a balcony, the room was changed immiedetly with no problem and no fuss. Next morning we was greeted for breakfast and the food was amazing it was fresh, tasty and lots of variety and the staff were so polite and helpful. Vorab aktuelle Öffnungszeiten: MO-DO 16-24 Uhr (Küche 17-21:30 Uhr) an Feiertagen von MO-FR 11-16 Uhr (Küche 11-15 Uhr). Auf der Durchreise sind wir in St.Pölten abgefahren um diesen Gasthof einmal kennenzulernen und haben es nicht bereut. Zum Glück haben wir trotz kurzfristigem Anruf noch einen Tisch für 6 Personen erhalten, leider allerdings im etwas kühlen Nebenraum. Der Service war in Ordnung. Die Speisen waren sehr gut, allerdings kamen leider nicht alle gleichzeitig an den Tisch. Dreierlei Fischfilet mit Risotto € 14,90 (Risotto mit Gemüse sehr gut, Fisch etwas zu durch), Geschmorte Ochsenbackerl butterzart. Das Gasthaus ist gemütlich elegant eingerichtet, man wird von der Chefin sehr freundlich begrüsst.Der Tisch ist schön gedeckt, die Speisekarte ist überschaubar und enthält viele regionale Produkte. Ich habe einen Hirschkalbrücken gegessen, der auf den Punkt gegart war. Die Beilagen (getrüffeltes Pürree, Linsen) haben ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Die glasweise ausgeschenkten Weine sind shr gut ausgewählt und gerade richtig temperiert. Was fehlt mir zum 5.Stern:die Servietten erscheinen für die Qualität des Lokals zu billig, eine am Tisch vorhandene Kerze sollte angezündet werden und ein Gruss der Küche zu Beginn ( man würde wahrscheinlich den Extarpreis fürs Gedeck akzeptieren) hätte mich gefreu... One of my goals when I travel is to get away from the tourist areas and see what real life is like. This is a perfect hotel/restaurant to do that. My meal was outstanding from start to finish, and the ambiance of local guests enjoying...their evening (even some choral singing was memorable. The waiter spoke excellent English and made great wine recommendations to accompany an outstanding meal. In general in Austria and particularly here, the quality of the food and wine for the price is almost unbeatable. I am going back this year for a longer stay so I can eat more meals here
one of my goals when I travel is to get away from the tourist areas and see how the real life is. this is a perfect hotel/restaurant to do this. my meal was excellent from beginning to end, and enjoying the ambiente of local guests...toe evening (also some chorgesang! was unforgettable. the waiter spoke excellent English and made great wein recommendations to accompany an excellent meal. in general in Austria and especially here is the quality of food and weep for the price almost unbeatable. I go back this year for a longer stay, so I can eat more meals here:
Die Speisen aus regionalen Produkten schmecken einfach köstlich. Ob typische Hausmannskost, quellfrischer Fisch oder auf den Punkt gegarte Fleischgerichte, man spürt die Liebe zum Detail, genauso wie die Professionalität des Kochs. Die passenden Weine, perfekt temperiert, noch dazu zu moderaten Preisen, verstehen sich von selbst. Die charmante Betreuung der Gäste durch die Chefin persönlich ist immer ein nettes Erlebnis.Ein äußerst empfehlenswertes Restaurant!!!!
Immer einen Besuch wert! Dieses entzückende Restaurant ist eines unserer Lieblinge. Hervorragendes Essen, eine reichhaltige Weinkarte und den herzlichsten Service weit und breit. Das Landgasthaus Pils verfügt über eine immer gleichbleibend hochwertige Küche, eine exzellente Weinkarte, die Zutaten sind alle aus wenigen km Umkreis, und die Frische schmeckt man. Das Service wirkt zwar hin und wieder verwirrt, aber unglaublich liebenswert und hilfsbereit, daher in Summe eine klare Empfehlung!
