We stopped there for a lunch when we were getting through Austria to Italy as a photography group. It was arranged by our local tour company and it was great. We had a soup with noodles which is also common in certain Balkan states, a good salad with various fresh vegetables. The best main course of 2 good-size pieces of salmon served with risotto is among the best main courses I have ever had indeed. The overall portions for my lunch were just appropriate and it was a pity that we had not been arranged with a dessert. We called to reserve a table on short notice because we were canceled on by another restaurant nearby only at arrival. The food and drinks were great, the staff super attentive and the atmosphere among crew and also guests relaxed and friendly. It's a good mix of casual, traditional yet modern and slightly fancy which is hard to achieve and thus, very pleasant. It's on the pricier side compared to other restaurants nearby, but value for money is definitely given. I recommend for anyone to stop by and enjoy their food and nice staff. Thanks for hosting us!

We had an amazing time at the Postwirt in Seeboden am Millstaetter See, amazing for Lunch and Dinner but also they are open all they, great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming and of course the Authentic Austrian Cusine is a must try for everyone visiting or driving through Seeboden.

I was not impressed with this restaurant. It is not bad but for the price that you pay you should be getting more. First time I have had a steak with cheese topped with strawberry, corn and pickled onion. Weird. Service was friendly though

Postwirt is an excellent restaurant with authentic Austrian high quality cuisine. Great service, wonderful Ambiente and absolutely worth to try. Value for money.
