Gasthof - Restaurant Kalteis

we come all couple months to kirchberg to dine at hubert cold ice cream. it is always a pleasure to enjoy its magnificent grounded and yet refined cuisine. whether in the dining room at the slender, in the more elegant dining room or on the terrace, you enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of this family-run business everywhere. is also particularly pleasing for the good price/performance ratio for a bonfire restaurant.

Went the on a Sunday afternoon. They have a beautiful terrace to enjoy the sunset. The waitress directly showed that we wouldn't be best friends at the end of our dinner. Very cold and sometimes rude, we almost had to bag for paying and leave. The food was ok, but you can definitely find better quality in the area. Seemed a bit overpriced. Didn't try their ice creams tho, maybe it would have saved it.

This was our second visit to Gasthof Kalteis our last being 5 years ago. The menu gave a good choice from homely favourites to gourmet surprises. Everything tasted great and was served by friendly courteous staff. A good wine list allowed us to try a wine that we can rarely find a St Laurent. The meal was perfect in every way although a little more expensive than we would normally pay.

The food is of very good quality and very well presented. The terrace is fantastic. The waiters are at the beginning a bit too pushy and then not coordinated to bring the food to the table. We had wonderful soups and spaghetti. Ice is the top

excellent restaurant in a small town in the middle of nowhere from Lower Austria. it's not cheap, it's worth the money.
