Gasthof Rieneck

For more than ten years now, when we first came to Oberfranken, Gasthof Rieneck was the first place in the area we visited. In memory we are still the carving Bolognese. The last visit here has long been back today. Some outdoor stages for disabled people are likely to be easy to walk across the back beer garden leading us up to the guest room where we are the only guests today. The guest room is bright and friendly, as we know Him for more than ten years. I'm not the big lettuce fan, but I've gone this before the skin dish is at the table. This is an absolute exception and speaks for the salad. The scavengers are coming. A delicate, panned pork from the pan. Upstairs a strong portion of Bolognese, as you wish them to paste. The whole is then baked with a good portion of cheese. The pommes served in a small bowl are TK merchandise but this comes nice cross and non-fat triefing therefore just before serving with some paprika powder have been very good. At the end of a Franconian convoy 1,80 FAZIT The Gasthof Rieneck can be recommended.

In the beer garden next to the restaurant it sits comfortably and the service was friendly and fast. The food is not worth a recommendation. The portions are huge, even for Franconian conditions. Who can/will eat such quantities? Also on the side tables was fought with the portions, many could give themselves foil for the packaging. Only: I would prefer significantly diced shares in better quality (from me also at somewhat higher prices). My big salad plate was big, in fact, but he came to 80 of cans or buckets, or at least tasted so, excuse. With the unavoidable white finished sauce on top. Even at the Schnitzel, half of the amount had found much more attractiveness in better quality. And the Kaiserschmarrn tasted 100 like a touched end product. Sometimes I dress up at home when you really have to go fast (you take Dr. Oetker). But I don't want to get it in the restaurant. Maybe the cook had a bad day, maybe the kitchen got worse because the good reviews of 2008 I don't know and probably won't know because I don't plan to go back.

You can really only agree with this: excellent service, decent prices and especially a very good food (my recommendation: carp or lumbar vertebrae! You can't ask for more and you don't want more.

The pork larvae in pepper or mushroom cream sauce are highly recommended. Unfortunately, we had to wait for half the proportion of the child longer, the rest was fast.

Good portions, excellent service, delicious food. Definitely a tip in Bamberger Umland!
