On the Swabian Alb, currently still wintery, Westerheim also invites numerous sailors from the other area for a stay. Last Sunday we decided to enjoy the first big snow. Because we were starving at some point, we decided to take a break in the Rössle Farm. The restaurant was well visited at noon, in the parking lot before you saw many KFZ signs from other regions. Wir waren mit drei Erwachsenen, davon einer Rollstuhlfahrerin, und 2 Hunden unterwegs, Sehr freundlicher Empfang, der Wirt hat alles getan, damit wir uns wohlfühlen. Das Essen,1 mal Rostbraten mit Pommes und Salat, sehr schmackhaft, das Fleisch auf den Punkt gebraten. Einmal Schnitzel mit Pommes sowie ein vegetarisches Gericht, alle Speisen sehr schmackhaft und in ausreichenden Portionen. Kleines, aber feines Salatbüffet. Als Dessert haben wir dann selbstgemachtes Eis genossen. Insgesamt hat es sich wirklich gelohnt, hier einzukehren. Das Lokal ist barrierefrei, Hunde sind willkommen.

we were with three grown-ups, one of them a wheelchair driver, and two dogs on the go, very friendly reception that did everything to make us feel comfortable. the food, 1 times roasted with pommes and salads, very tasty, the meat roasted on the point. once carved with pommes and a vegetarian dish, eat all very tasty and in sufficient portions. small, but fine salads buffet. as dessert we then enjoyed self-made ice cream. Overall, it was really worth returning here. the place is barrier-free, dogs are welcome.

Stayed there one night during a business trip. Whilst less than 15 minutes from the 8 motorway, Westerheim is an oasis of tranquility. Beautiful area. Rooms are adequate, wifi needs to be updated, too slow and bad coverage. Bathroom a bit outdated, yet clean. Breakfast was nice, with good service. They have a nice terras ie Biergarten. We stayed at the Rössle hotel for a night and we tried their restaurant. The weather was good, so we could sit outside, along with many local customers. We ordered a kalbsschnitzel (calf schnitzel) and a rössletopf (local specialty of meat in a pan together with noodles and mushrooms). Both dishes were of perfect quality ingredients, the portions were big and the taste was very good, especially for the price. Highly recommend restaurant!
