Wir waren bei diesen Pächtern/inen zum ersten Mal hier, waren auch nur im Garten (wie die übrigen Gäste auch), was sich bei dem Wetter und der wunderschönen Lage im Wald auch angeboten hat. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut, hier kann man noch zu zivilen Preisen einkehren. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, aber ausreichend und es gab auch noch ein Tagesgericht. Man darf nichts besonderes erwarten, aber das was wir bekamen war in Ordnung (einzig die Sauce von meinem Jägerschnitzel war nicht so mein Geschmack aber das sieht ja auch jeder anders), basddscho! Wir werden sicherlich wieder mal vorbei schauen! Service: 4
Great! We stayed in this restaurant in September 2020 in the beautiful outdoor area for food and have eaten the carp fillet, the sour roasts and a serving of frits. The carp and the accompanying additional salad were excellent! Compliment for cooking! The Sauerbraten perfect and the Pommes could not be made better either! The menu is not extensive, but completely sufficient and the selection of local beers is also a pleasure. In combination with the friendly service and the short waiting period, this restaurant makes one of our favorites and we will come back soon! 5 stars without doubt.
We were invited here for a birthday lunch on Christmas day. The food was good, but that was to be expected with the price. Only the creme brulee was not authentic and there seemed to be no time to burn the sugar as it was still nearly all granulated. They were obviously understaffed as service was a little slow which was fine as we had time, but in a waiter's hurry he spilled gravy all down by back. Definite nono! He brought a cloth to wipe it, but I fear as gravy has oil in it........ No real apology either and no bill reduction or anything.
New guardian since 5 June 2020! Cosy atmosphere through the changes in the restaurant. The food (Fränkische Küche) was very delicious and the portions large. Price/performance is correct. The service was friendly and attentive. Salad with goat cheese and bacon is highly recommended.

The food is fresh and tastes very delicious. The portions plentiful and appropriate in price. Also the ladies of the service are friendly and attentive. Perfect for a walk in the forest or a bike tour! Recommended : Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
Unser Lieblingslokal, wenn wir in der Gegend Urlaub machen. Gute, schmackhafte bayrische Gerichte, sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service und ein akzeptables Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Bis bald!
