I rarely write comments, but today I have to. He still exists, the host who creates a space for you to unwind. The inn with a difference. Admittedly, I have to travel about 6 hours south by car from the Lower Rhine/Germany. In Erschwil in Switzerland you can find what you thought in our hectic times no longer exists. Warm hosts Renate and Philipp Strautmann, who do everything possible to make your stay special. Excellent rooms, modern and very lovingly designed. Dinner with great wines, and a breakfast that you have to look for for so long. I felt more than comfortable and thank the innkeepers for this lovely experience. At the Gasthof zum weissen Rössl everything was perfect right from the start. The beautifully set table, the wait staff were all very attentive and made sure that it was a nice evening for us, even the chef (boss) introduced himself to us. Not to mention the food is really delicious and you can even watch it being prepared through the glass door in the kitchen. Conclusion: Highly recommended and therefore 5 stars.
