5 stars, no more? Where to start, first experience on November 1, 2022 and here we are finishing the second, November 1, 2023, i.e. 1 year after the first. The abbey is a breathtaking place! I can 't understand some of the unacceptable comments from some customers! Notably one, stipulating the “Groupon” offer, our two experiences were Groupon offers! We requested an upgrade (because of off-peak periods) and both times the staff responded to our request, all the staff at the establishment more than lived up to the expectations of this place. IF there are 3 or 4 of you and you want to share a so-called 'Suite ', avoid room number 6!! Sold at the price of a so-called luxurious suite (because it has a view of the hotel parking lot and the lake behind , it is absolutely not at the level of service expected for a hotel of this level: The '2nd bedroom ' is actually made up of a sofa bed located IN THE BATHROOM! So no privacy, and the occupants of the master bedroom must pass in front of you to go to the toilet, and shower in front of your eyes... or go to the toilet located in the corridor of the hotel... I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Room poorly sound insulated: woken up at 7 a.m. by music from the breakfast room, and hubbub from the restaurant until late in the evening in the room. I point this out to the receptionist when checking out, who responds with a slight “yeah”. Another lack of taste: at the reception, a large screen displays the price you pay, so that everyone nearby my wife in this case can see what you are paying. Loan of a broken and unusable umbrella. We had a great time at the Abbaye de Talloires thanks to the Gastronomy Spa offer. 6-course dinner at the gourmet restaurant: The staff is welcoming and the menu is qualitative. The wine selection is sophisticated. We accompanied our dinner with an excellent bottle recommended by the sommelier. The portions are generous, we refused the sweets at the end of the meal because we were no longer hungry. Night at the Abbey: We were upgraded to a superior room. The decoration of the room is nothing exceptional. On the other hand, the bathroom with its old bathtub and its decoration is charming. The bedding is comfortable. Duo massage access to the spa: The massage was amazing and the spa very nice....

A picturesque and historic 'Abbaye ' on the lake of Annecy, gets 100% on location, location, location, but also they looked after us all extremely well. The food, service and accommodation are all top notch and our three nights there were wonderful in every respect. Thank you all so much! PS It was our son 's wedding and it couldn 't have been a more perfect occasion in the most magical and enchanting hotel. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Noteworthy details: The place is very beautiful, calm and soothing! I advise you to take advantage of the spa relaxation area! But especially massages, because they are really adapted to your desires and needs! The masseuse is smiling, pleasant and friendly! I really recommend! What to say Room a bit small, however we had the lake side view and it was magnificent. Concerning the spa, very very small too, mini jacuzzi not hot enough at all Very good breakfast and lots of choice. Pleasant staff. The interior of the abbey is magnificent!! To celebrate an event, this is a great address. Rooms: Nice room but toilet drainage problem Nearby activities: Beautiful spa with gym, hammam sauna, and jacuzzi. All very cozy.
