Gastronomique De Valrugues

The location is a beautiful terrace overlooking the pool/garden area. The service was very good, friendly, polite, without being familiar. While the setting was beautiful, there was a slight feeling of “stuffiness”. One of us had the MENU VALRUGUES €105, the other had the MENU DECOUVERTE €90. The Valrugues suffered from many different flavors and textures, some of which worked and others did not. The quality of food and preparation was without question. The Decouverte offers simple choices for each of the 3 courses; Fish was chosen for the duck and dish. This menu seemed much better to work; the aromas were reported together and the fish was without mistake. The Decouverte offers a better value for money with a more satisfying finish in the mouth. The impression of the Valrugues was that it tried too hard. A rewarding experience but wisely choose.

Everything went up tonight. From the shuttle pickup in our hotel about the simplicity and depth of the menu, the quality of food and preparation, the kindness and discreet / not pushy service and the environment. A beautiful Jubilee Night for us and one of our best meals in new memory Thank you!
