We had a horrible experience in this place today. We are a family from Spain traveling through Germany and we stopped in this restaurant for lunch. When we sat down, we asked the waitress if she spoke English as we dont speak German and needed...help to order. She responded in a very rude way: You are in Germany . We explained that are traveling and we unfortunately dont speak German so politely asked if she spoke English. She shrugged so we picked up and left. This was the most unpleasant experience, we were all shocked by the rudeness of this person. She should learn a few lessons on how to deal with tourists and guests in general, she gave a horrible image of Munster and Germany in genera...

Our quest was to find an authentic German restaurant serving schnitzel Mission accomplished at Restaurant Toddenhoek. Great menu with a fab choice of hearty dishes. Very friendly service in a quirky authentic setting.
