that was the best we had on our journey. we could eat outside and enjoy very good and friendly service. the food was delicious, I had soap and carving howner art with a very good salate. everything was excellent, the pommes friten had exactly the right amount of salt and were served with ketchup and mayo on the side. good selection of beer and wine, all locally. When I come back to Freiburg, I will certainly eat again here.

Just had Rehgulasch here at Zahringer Tor. It’s local black forest deer! Delicious! I have had several meals here, mostly old town center. This is the best so far. I like to try locally sourced food when I’m traveling. There are other locally sourced food here. Will come back for these next time.

Very nice restaurant. On weekends I strongly advise you to make a reservation as it can be very full. No problem under the week. There are two menus. A normal and a special card. All beef dishes are excellent. Delicious and delicate. My wishes were immediately received. Great service.

beautiful place very friendly. the menu is small, but eating was super delicious. obviously they have recently changed the owner, so they can't get through the menu offers here on google. some of these things are not available there.

Very nice atmosphere and even greater food. Lots of delicious dishes. Got a recommendation from the chef which was really good. Haven't eaten such a good steak (Kotelett) in a very long time. Just delicious

traditional German cuisine. I had the 500 gramm sirloin steak and my wife ordered the more traditional pork fillet with spatzle and swirl. both were delicious. good price. highly recommended.

Great local German food! Outside the city but not too far, great place to grab some authentic German food with a local experience. Dog friendly as well

employees were very helpful and debonair. entrecote steak was really delicious. Saving soup I tested the first time was also very delicious.
