We were six in my birthday at the Wildschütz in Altenburg. The restaurant makes a well-defined and solid impression. The reception was friendly and family. The restaurant was well filled, but not too full. The food has not long been waiting for you and is absolutely recommended. I and my son had wild plates with different meats from the roe, deer and wild boar...very delicious. In addition, there were deer roasts with lumps and fresh vegetables. Everything's great. Also the dessert offer can really be seen, including ice cream with hot raspberries. The price level is quite high, but from my point of view, the price performance is completely true, considering that every meal is a great, colorful salad dish with you, where you have to pay in other locals a little 6 or 7 euros extra.
