a spontaneous restaurant visit led us in backnang to the restaurant city view on the hagenbach, where one has dominated from the terraces, a grand panorama view over the roofs of the old town backnangs, over which in the center of the city tower - the real sign of the murrmetropole – can be noticed. so pleasant first impressions, in which we were able to agree with a sherry as aperitif (3,90 €) on the table reserved for us, which was arranged with elegant couverts as well as with candle and flower decorations, on a relaxed evening.In dishes menu choice, it gave it as an appetizer kartoffel roast with smoked flax on honey. at the start we tended to the rumpsteak with green pfeffer cream sauce...
there is a very good selection of Swabians. the swirl roast was very delicate, the hand-wobbed late zle and the reduced sauce excellent.The wine selection is a bit small and local but quite rewarding.Leider is the ambiente inside a bit sterile, but in summer you can sit very nice on the terrace with beautiful view of the place.The service is in order, but it doesn't always go all round.The prices are worth it!
we were due to a family event in backnang and are spontaneous in the restaurant city view. the service was very nice and very fast, the quality of the selected dishes absolutely convincing, the swirl roast a dense and the desserts grandios. we were all absolutely positiw surprised at the quality of the dishes, the friendliness of the staff, not to mention the beautiful view of backnang.
significantly better than expected was not only the quality of the food, but also the friendly and attentiveness of the service. it only acts like a restaurant (because it is situated behind the sports field) but it is a really good restaurant. the swirl roast is really recommended - our other foods were also very good!
