By chance we called for a beer on a Thursday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the welcome, the cold beers and the 'Pfefferlinge' (Chanterelle mushrooms) which we tried. So much did we enjoy it that we decided to return for dinner the following evening. This was no mistake. Even though there was a big group being served for a party, and with a few other tables of non-reserved guests, the waiter (he was alone) managed admirably and gave us friendly service.
