Gatehouse Tavern

It's was very busy... Service was a little slow. Waitress may be new to the industry. We did order a few apps. They have chef specials... That is one thing I'm always interested in so I tried. It was a seafood pasta with a wine reduction. Very tasty.(Could have used a little more parmesan cheese but I like a lot so). My wife had a creamy potato soup with chicken. It wasgreat. I also recommend the wedge salad bacon was smoked and delicious.

not sure why this place has less than 4 stars. it is not a high-end boogy restaurant, but the menu is extensive and has something for everyone. I'd call.

my first visit was great. new to wake forest communityde and wanted to find a neighbourhood restaurant and bar. I found it here. I look forward to many.

Our food was outstanding! The BEST Reuben in NC...so far. Service was great. Tori was very attentive and the atmosphere was super fun!
