not the biggest fan of the market itself its quite small and not a whole tonne of a frozen food choice for vegan vegetarian and only minimial vegan items around the load I saw, but the market is great! many vegan and vegetarian options and everything is clearly marked. it can get a lot to do, but the line goes fast. I had the falafel and the padthai and both were delicious! The Tofu Scrambble is okay. I think they're better for lunch. my appointment had something that had been on breakfast and he said it was just okay.

Gateway Market also is a restaurant and they have several vegan and vegetarian options available. Their Vegan Bahn Mi is absolutely amazing and they always provide great service. Their grocery selection is also wonderful although a bit more expensive due to being a smaller market. They have lots of organic produce and a great selection of local beer. The only thing I wish they had is more vegan bakery options. All I found so far are some healthy chocolate chip cookies. Updated from previous review on 2014-06-05

We stopped here before attending a concert at a venue right down the street, and were very pleasantly surprised at the number of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. The place was very busy, but the food was excellent! We also visited the grocery section, and found the prices to be high on just about everything. They did have some good vegan items in the store, but if I lived in Des Moines I would probably try to find better prices elsewhere.

The food here is amazing! I got a French toast with syrup and berries and they play the best music in the building. It also has a built in marketplace and the kids menus are friendly. There's a freezer section for bottled drinks and the design is nextlevel. Whether you wanna go eat or grocery shopping, this is the place for you. Much gives the airport vibes tbh which I love Reserva una mesa ahora

we eat regularly in gateway. they have vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love the Tofu band mi and it is enough to feed a few people when they get a few riders! they also have several veg burger options, and vegan pad thai that are pretty good. I like the tofu cube for the breakfast it is a bit bland, but really delicious with salsa or siracha.

The menu has an amazing variety. Really, something for everyone. I had loaded nachos and they're built on Gateway's tasty flour tortilla chips. My husband had the chicken club and fries. It was juicy and very tasty as well. We were there at about 1:45 on aSaturday and it was pretty busy. Things moved right along, however.

Tried the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was made with chicken strips that were all crunch and no meat. Decided to give them another try a couple weeks later. My black bean burger was cooked so long that the patty was black and hard. I?ll go to themarket, but won?t be retuning to the cafe. Not a chance.

to their breakfast burritos and their kartoffels just make sure they want it vegan (tofu no ice or cheese, sour cream) they have many other veg options for lunch / dinner
