Gaudi Casa Gastronómica

I made reservations for lunch for two through Starbox for Friday at 1:00 pm. They don’t have valet parking. The restaurant was full. There wasn’t a host/hostess anywhere around so it took a few minutes before we were attended to. They didn’t have our reservation registered but it only took about 5 minutes before we were seated. Then it took another short while before we got a menu. From there on out it was smooth sailing. The food was very good: a bottle of “vino de la casa”; two tapas (the meatballs and the champiñones) as “entradas”; main plates (Paella Gaudí and Langostinos al Ajillo); dessert and cappuccinos to close it off. We went there with some friends and family with children, they have good space if you are going with a large group of people... the quality of service is quite good and the taste of food is awesome, the only small thing that happened is that my wife ordered a paella and on it there was a small piece o wire that hurted her mouth... we called the manager of the place and she excused herself on behalf of the restaurant and excluded the dish from the account and in adition they gave us some liquor made of coffee in apologie for the inconvinience...

Interesting decoration, quite difficult to define ... quite large space, like enough to accommodate large groups of people. Went there for dinner with friends on a Friday eve; service was not bad and the quality of food ... well ... not the best tapas I have eaten, but not too bad either .. Good selection of Spanish wines and reasonable prices. Nice to try it once ... or twice ...

The place is really nice, decoration very pretty and costumer service is good enough. Very disappointing for the food, the paella was not worth it at all, was cold and not fresh. The food in general is not tasty. I won’t come back again.

Fui con mi familia. Buen ambiente, hermosa casa pero comida un poco normal. No es nada sabroso, nada parecido a la comida española, que es agradable al gusto y diferente. La necesidad de cambiar de chef.
