Gebby’s Family - Reservar una mesa

First time visit for me, but have eaten next door at Schooners many times. My buddy Darryl and I decided to drop in after church services Sunday morning. The place was super crowded, but we were able to get seats at the counter right away. Took a good 45minutes to finally get our meals, but that was no big deal, since they were overpowered by the surge of customers. I was toldlater by one of the employees that it's this way every Sunday and Wednesday. This restaurant has been in the community for manyyears and evidently many people are very well pleased. That was a damn good food. It could have been an IHOP or truckstop, but it was Gebbys. The server was one of the most gracious and knew the menu well. I had chickens and eggs. Whoever was in the kitchen was not a sip! Perfect eggs. My buddy had a burger that was perfectly cooked and juicy. I don't really remember decor because my mouth and brain were full of food. Obviously they have land engraving with or without sausage, altho why you don't want it to be a secret. If I can hold back from the country fried steak ever (and I can probably not), I will try a burger. The pommes were crispy, excellent and each product was hot when we got it. The staff, waitress (Kim) and Bobby (Manager) were absolute tops. Every restaurant should have a Kim. Food came quickly and was very good. First time going there and will definitely be back. Everyone there seemed to know each other, and I even raninto someone I knew 20+ years ago. Felt like a small town diner. The biggest downside was the pancake tasted like it had beenmade on the same grill as something with garlic, peppers and onion. Back of house was good but may want to dedicate some grillsto specific foods.

One of my preferred places for tasty family meals. This place is absolutely outstanding. I will be back with my friends. Reminds me of a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed.
