Gelateria Veneta - Reserva de mesa

This is near Castelgrande and so, is a convenient spot for having an ice cream for a tourist. We enjoyed various flavours which were all good. However, we decided that the flavours at Gelateria Venturini were more intense. This establishment closes late for this small town. You can pass by after dinner and join the generally young patrons. There is a bench outside. It is really a take out place.

I am a fan of ice cream and moreover the real Italian type of ice cream - good taste comes in big portions - of which you csn find plenty in Ticino but this place should NOT be allowed to be called Gelateria! The staff is not friendly but even worse the ice cream is terribly low quality, obly water - no taste but on the same price as anywhere else...

Many different flavours and regular refill. At corner of main Street and side street. Pretty large inside with long counter. Prices ok, but be aware.. You are im Switzerland, not Italy Open until 23h. Pretty touristic but good quality. You should though also try some other gelaterias in town too!

Per Zufall liefen wir an dieser Gelateria vorbei. Da schon Leute am anstehen waren stellten wir uns einfach mal mit an. Das Eis war sensationell. Alle drei Sorten welche ich ausgesucht habe waren lecker. Wir werden sicher nochmals in diesen Ferien dort hin fahren um ein Eis zu essen! Reserva una mesa ahora

One of the best ice creams I've ever eaten, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying the Sicilian flavored ice cream with almonds and piatacchio, you won't regret it.
