I can concur the previous review. We were the "two guys at the next table" who had arrived 15 minutes earlier. I, too, thought the "duck meatloaf" was Spam. And I thought I recognised the kale salad as Costco. The slider trio were good, but the buns were Wonder-Bready. It sounds like we got the last of cheesecake, which was okay, but also wouldn't surprise me if it was Costco. I have no proof of the food being catered by Chez Costco, but it sure seemed so.My glass of wine had sediment.The highlight of the evening was witnessing our neighbouring table being chewed out by the "chef" for not having liked their appetisers. When we got there, we got to sit at the picnic tables, there was a foul smell in the air, but that was okay, what what not okay was waiting for our food for 1 hour and 20 minutes. By then the appetite was almost gone, we moved inside as it was getting dark. When the food arrived it was nicely presented, not once did the waitress come by and ask if everything was good/okay. The grilled vegetable wrap was tasteless maybe because I did not want any feta cheese, there was only one vegetable, red pepper oh yes wrapped with lots of spinach with no dressing very tasteless, I did enjoy the sweet potato fries, however somehow they were very greasy, but crisp. As for my husband he did enjoy his burger...

Love the ambience of this place situated on a beautiful piece of property lakeside. So relaxing to sit on the screened in patio for dinner and drinks. The food is always cooked perfectly and very attractively presented. They have a great brunch on the weekends as well with homemade preserves...yummy! In winter there is a lovely fireplace. Very cozy intimate setting. My friends and I visit every few months.

The food is always good and the chef continues to update the menu regularly. I've been there several times with friends and family and the food and service stay the same. Top of the list on both fronts. Their waitress is a delight and is the icing on the cake for a good time out. Check the hours of operation during the winter as they may be different to summer hours.

Friends took me out for my birthday. A great covered patio on the water. It was pub night. The bacon burger was good...a little salty for my taste but at least the bacon was crispy. Prompt service and reasonably priced. Will return again.
