The selection has become less appealing than it once was, so I decided to try the crunchy California roll. Unfortunately, the supposed crunch consisted of stale rice crisp bits that lacked any real texture. The roll itself had very little flavor, relying heavily on the spicy sauce they drench over half of their rolls to add some taste. I’ve had much better sushi from Giant and Harris Teeter. It’s definitely time for Whole Foods to consider a new sushi supplier!
I was shocked at their bad changes. Pretty much driven by cost reduction. So came with cheap thin plastic spoon and bowl. I really miss the real bowl and nicer utensils. While I was eating I really can’t stand this company’s cheap plastics which are not good for health when it contains hot soup let alone the environment. I think today will be my last meal here.
I just want to echo what others have mentioned regarding the misleading label of this place. It’s not really a restaurant, but rather a food supplier for Whole Foods. I would rate it higher based on the quality of the food; the sushi is quite good for a grocery store and fairly priced for the DMV Whole Foods area. Service: Takeout Meal type: Dinner.
I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is yummy and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we enjoy a lovely evening. I recommend this place with pleasure. Reserva una mesa ahora
I dine in this great restaurant quite often! This is the best place to have a bite. I go to this spot many times. The cooking is very tasty, the workers are courteous and the rates are fair. I like eating in this place to have a good lunch.
I wasted 20 minutes looking for a restaurant, only to discover this is just the sushi counter waaaaay inside the Whole Foods. Stop frustrating people pretending this is a restaurant.
This is one of my favorite spots for a bite to eat. It has a convenient location, is always clean, and the customer service is outstanding. Keep up the great work!
