Genji Sushi - Reservar una mesa

THE PLACE IS TOO SMALL SO YOU DO NEED TO BOOK I BOOKED AND WENT THERE FOR DINNER AS THERE WERE FEW TABLES DINIGN AT THE SAME TIME THERE WAS ONLY 1 CHEF WHO ALSO IS THE OWNER AND IT WAS A VERY SLOW SERVICE WE HAD TO WAIT A LONG TIME TO BE SERVED OUR SUSHI I UNDERSTAND THAT HE IS DOING HIS BEST SO WAITING WAS NOT AN ISSUE WHEN WE RECEIVED THE SCALLOP SUSHI THAT WE ORDERED IT WAS FLAMED SO OUTSIDE WAS WARM BUT INSIDE WAS STILL LIKE IT WAS NOT THAWED PROPERLY IT WAS STILL ICEY INSIDE , THE TUNA SUSHI ALSO LOOKED REALLY BROWN IN COLOR WHICH MEANT THAT THE TUNA WAS QUIET OLD SO AFTER THAT WE DID NOT ORDER MORE NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN.

We came for a birthday and first when we booked they could only book for 6 or 8 but not 7 guests. As we arrived and ordered food, we ordered sashimi and asked for thin slices. The waiter said yes and still brought thick slices and when we asked for them thinner he brought us a normal knife to cut ourselves. It got even worse when we wanted to ask for more food and they told us it was an hour wait even though they only had 5 tables busy. I can only say, we should have gone to Takumi just down the street. Top restaurant, food and service. Was a shame to try something new…

Súper sushi … rice was perfect! Very simple restaurant with fresh sushi. My review is a long time coming but I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is the best sushi place in Marbella Literally! Im very disappointed about the sushi in Marbella but Genji is Top notch! Try the yellowtail in ponzu

It is a Cody place in the centre of Marbella where one can have a delicious Japanese food. Small place but very friendly and hospitable staff.
