Genki Sushi Korean Fried Chicken

Service was good and they were efficient. We ordered sushi rolls, nigiri and some appys. Sushi rice was very starchy and far too saturated and mushy. I almost choked on my first bite as I never expected it to be that mushy. Almost like mochi. The nigiri had too much rice for the amount of fish. The fish quantity was good, the rice was just too much. And bland. The appetizers were ok, but we went there for sushi. Can't recommend.

Love love love the sushi here! Korean chicken was oversized for what was expected, great job guys!!!This place has become my favorite spot in Powell River. The food has been consistently high quality everytime and today they managed to make our order in what seemed like 5 minutes, a new record I think. Thanks for taking such good care of your customers ?

Grabbed takeout on the way to the ferry. Friendly, helpful servers and food was ready quickly. The sushi was okay, but the rice was too soft…not authentic. BUT the chicken was delicious! Got the soy-garlic and sweet-spicy half and half container, full order and it was huge! Worth a try!

Absolutely delicious meal. The service was fast and friendly. We tried the awesome roll for the first time, and it was just that, awesome!The fried chicken is the best I have ever tasted!

Thee best sushi! Great service. Unfortunately you never know when they'll be open or closed due to staffing issues.We definitely would recommend this restaurant!
