My boyfriend and I recently found this restaurant and went for his birthday. The food was phenomenal, everything was quick and everyone was very kind. It was so good we just also ordered delivery to satisfy our craving, and the quality is still excellent. One of our favorite places now for sure. Thank you for the food! Highkey wish I had a photo to add, but we just cleaned our plates and it made me want to come write this review!
I would also appreciate it if Asahi beer could be restocked for my next visit. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy such quality sushi while out of state. I definitely recommend this place. Additionally, I was pleased that the meal included miso soup; rather than the small seaweed flakes commonly found in many places, this soup had larger pieces of seaweed and a nice umami flavor from mushrooms. Very delicious!
This Genki Ya is faaar better than the one downtown. The food is the same great quality every time, and the service and atmosphere are much better (unless you're looking to party I guess, then go to the downtown one). And their prices are hard to beat for sushi, especially the lunch special!
I got sashimi takeout and it was excellent. I liked that they included a lemon slice in the takeout, which I squeezed on the fish and realized that we all commonly squeeze citrus on fish, but I don't think most sushi restaurants include this. The owners were also very nice. Reserva una mesa ahora
The sushi was fantastic! I ordered the vegetarian sushi combo along with the veggie dragon roll, which had banana and sweet potato—it was absolutely delicious. The vegetable curry and veggie yaki soba were also great. Overall, I’d give the food a perfect 5 out of 5!
Loved the food. The staff was very friendly. And the food came out pretty fast. Place was cold definitely needs some heat.Vegetarian options: Enjoyed the veggie yaki soba and veggie curry plates. Loved the veggie roll plate.
The sushi here is absolutely amazing and well priced. I love the sake. And the vegetable tempura appetizer is very generous in its portion size. The staff is also very friendly. All in all I highly highly recommend.

I love Genki Ya! They have so many vegetarian options and they also offer outdoor seating. I ordered for pick up several times but also dined in.
