Edit: as the new owners hace been there theyve taken what made georges the best Italian family restaurants in the area into a shell of itself. They need to change the name. The food is not good. Its not familyn oriented. Went with NY kids at a normal hour, they didn't have anything my kids would eat anymore. They saw my kids putting money over and over in the juke box and wouldn't play the songs, they had a love band coming and didn't inform us. When the band came they moved us in what used to ben1 of 3 original eating areas, but it was just a storage room. I took one of my kids to the Car and waited for the rest of my fam to finish. I can't speak on the night vibes of it but don't expect It...
For those who gave this place anything over a one-star review, my guess is you never actually ate here, you were too high or drunk to notice how repulsive this place is or you just refuse to give bad, honest reviews.I ordered the chicken marsala. The chicken was like rubber, it seemed a little rancid and the sauce was a brown, watery mess. Best club in Brockton, I had an amazing experience at the club with my friends, great music and vibe , good atmosphere and great food, I highly recommend it to everyone. This is the first place that I ever been to in my life where white folks, black folks, Latinos, Cape Verdeans all have a super awesome time under one roof. This is definitely the United Nations. This is a hidden gem in Brockton. It’s the best go to spot in Brockton. I see a lot of bad reviews and came to check it out for myself. This place has a lot of haters. But, no one throws a rock at a tree that does not bear fruit.
Cultural appropriation is wrong even if its appropriation of an Italian heritage of their culture and food. This restaurant has not been run people familiar with Italian traditions and food for several years yet the continue to maintain that they have been there Since 1937. Cultural appropriation of food is offensive. Food is an important part of any society and the misrepresentation of the ownership here should be addressed with a proper name change.

A wonderful place! Thank you so much to the staff who was so kind and provided a welcoming, fun, and laid back atmosphere for my brother’s repast on this week. The food was filling and very tasty!! A special thank you to Savanna, who helped plan the event from the beginning to the end, she was very patient and understanding during a very difficult time. We truly appreciate everything!!
This place used to be bomb. It went from actual Italian owners to like some cape verdes that don’t know Italian food. This place just tells the sad story of Brockton. They used to house house made dressing. Cheap meatball and pasta dinners. It’s all over and gone just like the Italian kitchen. Both are dead
I used to really enjoy this place, but it's gone downhill over the years. The new management hosts parties every Saturday night, and they can get very loud, often going on until 3:00 in the morning. It's just not the same George's Café that I remember.
Really wonderful atmosphere the food and live entertainment was amazing!!! Definitely would recommend every and anyone who enjoys great food drinks and live music to check out this establishment!

Excellent food, drinks, and entertainment in a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. Worth a drive from the cape!The service can vary from excellent to sub par, depending on the server.
