I have been coming here since it opened and have been returning since for obvious reasons, I’ve mostly always been very satisfied. I’ve only removed 1 star because it hasn’t always been consistent however I am aware there is sometimes different or new staff that need adjusting to preparation/cooking and I have only noticed this restaurant improve since opening so I believe they are aware and have taken the constructive criticism well being a passionate family business owner.My go tos are the veggie delight wrap and the chicken skewer dinner. I ordered takeout and asked for feta on the side as our family members are dairy sensitive. Instead, it was on the salads. The feta itself was the poor-quality imitation stuff.The gyro was really salty with a strong hint of nutmeg, and it was burned.We thought we’d try a new place. That was a mistake. I’d suggest Astoria for a more authentic and higher-quality experience.Response to my response:Your feta was cheap and poorly ground.The gyro was reheated and burned. Dry meat, old rice and expensive for the portions. I should've read the reviews instead of going off the rating. Go to Jimmy the Greek in the mall down the street and you'll be less disappointed.The owner seems to deny everything instead of trying to make things right in the responses and assume they will in this review too.Edit: Just as I thought; a rude response back. 1. No one asked for a free meal, just asking for a FRESH tasty meal. 2. Honestly sad how after so many reviews you really don't seem to care about your customers.

I gotta say, the food here is quite killer. I've tried various Greek places and this location serves some great food. My wraps were loaded, they tasted great, and I was full by the end of it. I would give this place 5 stars, but the owner's responses to other people's negative reviews baffled me. There's more to a restaurant than just the food. Ordered here not to long ago , two gyro dinners , the potatoes were burnt, stale , salty. The rice was salty, the gyro was burnt in some place undercooked in others, and the salad was terrible alot of browning in the lettuce god knows how long it stays in container it comes in. Overall very disappointing from every aspect , not worth the price not even half the price charged.

George’s Greek Grill is the BEST. Our family has been ordering here for years and love everything plus the wow fries are such a treat. I made the mistake of trying another well known local Greek place and it does not compare to the quality, taste and value at George’s. Anytime I do pick up the cashiers are friendly as well.

Reviews for this place are high so I was shocked when I got my veggie delight wrap. I couldn't get myself to eat it. There was sauce everywhere and the wrap was soaked. Had to end up buying something else to eat.I did try the butternut squash soup which was good.

Good authentic Greek place, the gyro was super tasty and large portions. Would come back here if in the area. Tzatziki, Greek salad with chicken was also amazing. Top notch quality, left feeling very satisfied and full! Reserva una mesa ahora

I have gone here many times and the food does not disappoint! It is very fresh and delicious and I would recommend this place to anyone. Their butternut squash soup is very delicious and would recommend trying it.
