Georgeview Open Kitchen

We have lived in Georgetown for years.The open kitchen has always been our go to place .Lately the quality of food is not what it use to be. not the mom and pop restaurant anymore. We went Sunday. Lunch time. I order chicken Slovaki...no fries extra salad my husband philly cheese steak sandwich. One small chick skewer the salad was not fresh. Steak sandwich was greasy and little on it. Very few fries. Very disappointed! $ Our waitress new there was something wrong.Also the bully who yells when order are ready REALLY needs a hair net on his beard! I can't help but think about beard hair in my food.So clean it up boys. Will be finding a new breakfast spot sorry they are running it into the gro...

Went for a late supper. Was nice to find it open until pm on a Friday night. Supper was delicious., The portions were large, and service was great! Is under new ownership and decor has changed colour scheme, however same great service and food...as in the past. Tables were spaced out for social distancing and had the choice of either eating inside at a table or on the outside patio. Will be returning in the future.

I dont see how its SO difficult to make toast!!!! They are painting now but this place needs a full overhaul! Toast is always like this....always! I'm not sure why they thinks it's good enough to send to a customer!? Anyways there are many other...places in town to est better quality food for WAY less (for example what we paid almost for in there we paid less than at Ares!! Def not worth the money they charge!

Arrived at am, with three people seated outside. Entered the door and waited at the counter and counted staff members. The blonde "Lady" at the front never even looked at our party of two. Waited for five minutes, asked if I would be...seated and was ignored. After minutes we left and went down the road to Angels Diner and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.

We went to our booth and saw dirty napkins stuffed in the wall and box containing all the sugar and jams. The waitress took it away but didn't replace the box. The food came quickly. My food was over buttered, greasy, and my toast was...burned to a crisp. The potatoes were stale. For the price we paid, we deserved far better quality. I wont be back.

Breakfast was so good! Exactly what you want and expect from a good family restaurant!! We were seated promptly! Never rushed, and the wait staff were all very friendly!!!! Oh! And the coffee was delicious! And always someone right by to refill!! We were both...really happy with our brunch as well!!!

I have worked in Georgetown for and I just recently ate breakfast at the Georgeview and now had lunch. The service is great and so was the food, the Cheese Burger was excellent! I will be back for sure!

We love the Georgeview for breakfast and lunch. The service is always great and the Georgeview serves good food at fair prices. Always consistent our favourite breakfast place.

This is exactly what you expect. Quick breakfast served like you pictured it on the shows and movies. It’s fairly consistent but also fits the greasy spoon title.
