I ordered French toast deluxe and ask the waiter to swap out the ham for an egg and he did, but when I received my check, he charged me for the egg. I love this diner! I know it was across the street before and it replaced Pops diner and it?s been a top 5 favorite diner?s in NYC for me. I always come here for either breakfast or lunch and sometimes dinner. Can never go wrong getting their breakfastand their burgers are so freaking good. We had a delightful prix fixe meal that was very flavorful, but the dish didn't quite match the description as it was missing the artichokes and pimentos in the pasta. Since it was Thanksgiving, I understood that it was a busy time, and they may have run out of those ingredients. However, it would have been nice if someone had checked on us to refill our water or offer more wine or soda—though I didn't opt for more, the Pinot Grigio was surprisingly good. They did ask if we wanted the bill before suggesting coffee or the included dessert. **Food and Drink:** I tried the Athenian Omelette, which included spinach and feta cheese, and it was quite good, accompanied by home fries. The toasted corn muffin served with butter and jelly was also enjoyable.

I recently stopped by to grab lunch. The diner was well lit and clean. There are only stone steps to reach the entrance. There are separate areas to order take out as well as pay. Most of the staff still wore masks. There were many customers happilyeating inside. Staff were efficient and friendly. Restroom was large and clean. My order arrived quickly.
Breakfast was delicious! It was very busy, which is a great! But do be prepared to wait a bit for a table, and be realistic about your expectations from the server. They do a wonderful job, and it's hard to do a wonderful job for 10+ tables at a time! Absolutely loved the silver dollar pancakes... you get a mountain of them!
Great local diner. Interior seating are was great and very neat tidy. Bathrooms are dated and could use a rehab. Food and service was great. Wait staff very friendly. Big signs on the front door indicating that Covid vaccination proof before entrywas required but when you enter there is no check for any Covid vaccination.
Service was a bit slow. Food was ok. Smaller portions, higher prices... not sure if I would return anytime soon.
