This is a new to me discovery and I 'm obsessed now. Unlike most pizzerias in the area, they have a CRUNCHY, delicious, addicting crust. When you bite down, you actually hear the crunch. (mouth watering now...lol). The Original Grandma Pie is their standout and it 's exceptional. But also the regular pies are too. Their sauce is great as well. My whole family loves the pizza and my 11-yo son says their garlic knots are the best he 's ever had. They also have green olives as a choice of topping which a lot of places don 't seem to have around here so they get extra points for that. Pleasantly suprised! Walking by I stopped in for a quick slice. Had 1 Sicilian and one Buffalo. The Sicilian was light and airy with a nice crunch on the bottom. Buffalo slice had healthy portion of chicken and seasoned perfectly.I got the sense it was the owner that served me, he was friendly and helpful. No sign of rudeness others have mentioned. (Kind of wish he was rude, that's all that was missing from an authentic NY owner operated Pizza shop.)Found this place by accident as I was spending the day waiting at nearby Northern Westchester Hospital. During my early adulthood I have worked at many different pizzerias like this one, in almost every aspect of doing business: Delivery, preparing food like pasta dinners/subs/pizza, rolling dough, counter service, you name it. What I have found with Gerardo's is that every time I go the pizza is amazing, and their grandma's style is the best around. My wife typically avoids pizza but after trying Gerardo's she became somewhat of an addict for it. The staff there are super personable and friendly, and I am very suspicious of reviews that say otherwise. Please consider trying them even if you have another go-to place, they are the real deal and know how to make good food consistently every time...
My family orders from Gerardo's nearly every week! We have tried many, many delicious meals from the menu. We always have a delectable and hearty meal and are always pleased with the service and professionalism of the business. We are all Italian and we are NEVER disappointed! Whenever there is the slightest question or issue with completing the order we get a personal call to clarify or satisfy the order, despite how busy the restaurant is on a night. Our favorite pizza place in Kisco! Pizza is great and any guy behind the counter is always so friendly/welcoming! Perfect place all around! Parking: Parking on the street. Sometimes is available. But just around the corner there's a lot and they have a back door Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly. Right across the from the park I've seen countless families there after a summer day/lots of baseball games etc
