nice restaurant, an Italian map, high prices for a not very inventive card. The staff, you advise to take the wine of the house, supposedly equal in quality prices that some bottles on the already very expensive map, finally the price of the wine house was higher than the prices of other wines on the map, the staff pretended not to know, understand, and after energetics and discussions, 20 francs were refunded in cash!! but no redo ticket or canceled for bad invoice. Then, check the prices, the addition and above all don't let you do because they are dreadful in their surroundings the goat.
We had dinner on July 22nd. The Italian staff (not so kind ) we had the perception that it did not like our presence very much because that night threatened rain and there was only room outside and that if it had started to rain it could not do anything. The waitress spoke only German and he didn't even deserve to ask if it was ok. Then a couple of the place came and she spoke Italian, with him quietly dialogued (clearly in Italian) without worthy of a look. Bad treatment, no account. We're not going back.
with customers I am regularly in the gerberstube. eating is perfect and nothing to complain. the service is very friendly and attentive. why during lunch service the glastablare were cleaned at the buffet is scary to me and will probably be a take. the gerberstube is still one of our favorite locations in schaffhausen.
