German Classic Diner

I have found THE BEST BURGER place! We went to the German Classic Diner location in Filderstadt-Bernhausen in the Fußgänger Zone. Burgers were huge and loaded! The huge portion of fries were hot out of the fryer! Ketchup in a bottle for the table. Small mom and pop place with that back in the States greasy spoon diner feel. Burgers come loaded which is not specified on the menu so if you're not into all the toppings .. tell them!.. they will have no problem customizing your order. Small place with only 4 booths and a row of counter seating. Seating outside when the weather is nice. Small menu of mostly burgers and other fried items ... but EVERYTHING that came across the counter looked great...

If you have to wait an hour for a burger and guests arriving after us are served first, the quality of the food and the price doesn't matter. Even for a beer we had to take off the fridge. It was funny difficult to watch the two girls on the grill panic and scream at each other as in the best Nightmare Kitchen episode. Recommended for the show

We all have megaburgers and curly pommes. Great part for the price, and taste was delicious. Very recommended if you are in the area and are looking for a good burger!

Food was very good, and service was really nice. You almost feel like you're back in America with a diner. Go back.
