Gershwin's - Reserva de mesa

This was my worst meal in Norfolk in the past year. The service was slow, inattentive and unapologetic for the poor food outcomes. I had good experiences here before but this night the steak was over cooked, the replacement steak was very tough, hard to cut and the pomme frites were too salty to eat; the ahi tuna steak was cold from the first bite. Although the rustic beet salad, chocolate cake and cappuccino were good, it didn’t make up for the rest (main part) of the meal that was unacceptable. No one from management ever made an appearance or offered an apology. Greatly disappointing.

Thankful This restaurant has only been open three months.....we went there to take part in Restaurant Week and we were thrilled! Our server was named Beth and she was superb. We both had the Steamed Prince Edward Island Mussels and they were great!! My girlfriend had there Wild Mushroom Fettucini and she could not stop telling me how wonderful it was!!! I had there Grass Fed Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and jus.....it was over the top.....the restaurant looked eloquent. We will be back again and again. Please give it a try. We are very thankful to have found this restaurant.

Gershwins was a magical experience especially if you have a love for jazz and piano music, my SO took me here the night that he asked me out and it was beautiful. Live piano music, can't beat the ombiance of the place itself, the food was superb with an extended drink menu for the choosing. By far one of the best experiences I've had and walking into the restaurant there's this beautiful piano stair case that leads up to the second floor for reserved parties and such. You do

Stepping into Gershwin?s was like stepping into a classy Manhattan speakeasy. We were greeted with live baby grand piano music and servers in period attire. The decor, down to jeweled centerpiece candles, set the stage for a nice evening. Our cocktails were all delightful followed by delicious, thoughtfully presented cuisine. We enjoyed seasonal burrata with peaches and tomatoes, duck, mussels and shrimp risotto, and linguini. We will be returning. Reserva una mesa ahora

My friend and I really enjoyed our first time. We did notice our bartender didn’t necessarily seem delighted or happy to wait on us. We tried to smile and make small convo but she seemed almost annoyed, nonetheless I too have worked in the restaurant industry and chalked it up to maybe being a rough evening for her. We tipped her very well and wished her a good night.

Great experience all around! The cocktail list is EXTENSIVE. Like 3 whole pages worth. They were all beautiful and delicious. The ?paper plane? even comes with an origami plane. Can?t wait for another evening here! Tomato tarte is great. We?ve tried 3 of the burrata variations and loved each one. (traditional, balsamic peaches, and acorn squash)

This place was AMAZING! Our waitress Serene was awesome. I ordered the steak and mussels and everything was seasoned well and so good. Trust me you won?t regret coming here. They also have happy hour from 5-6pm. Thank me later????

Fantastic cocktails. Great bartender. Live piano music was amazing. I highly recommend the French 75 and the French 125 for something unique and refreshing. Would definitely come here again.
