Lovely! The blackened salmon was AMAZING. The spices on it were perfect and on top of the spinach salad was incredibly flavorful. Everyone loved their food. ALSO, the stinger pizza was also really good. I wish I wasn’t too full to have eaten more but man does it have a kick at the end from the hot honey. I really enjoyed that. They were out of their riesling but our server recommended the Bricco Riella moscato which was SO good. If you like sweet, I would recommend that. Gia mia is my favorite restaurant. I've tried a lot of things out on their menu and they never disappoint. I especially love their pasta and fresh salads! The cocktails are also spectacular (try the lemon travolta).... If visiting during The Weekend you definitely need to make a reservation because they are always busy. Most recently I had the short rib gnocchi (highly recommend) although I would have liked the plate to have more gnocchi since I'm a potato lover, but they surely compensate with the big slab of short rib on top. A few other things I strongly recommend on the menu are the wild mushroom sacchetti, zucchini fries, and arancini !!
Dinner for three we ordered small plates (they were smaller than we anticipated) and a pizza. All the food was delicious the meatball el forno with polenta was appropriately sized, but the Gnocci dish had maybe 6 noodles .... ?? Just felt it was not enough. While a casual restaurant, it seemed louder than should be. We will be back just will have to order the main dishes.

The food is always very good and I’ve tried various items on the menu. Wait staff are terrific. Very personable. It’s easy to make a reservation and outside seating is good.
We went early on a Thursday evening before the rush. The food was excellent and our server, Joey, was top-notch.
It's the perfect neighborhood restaurant, and its worth driving to. Really good, hot, creative food. Yum.
Please bring back the sausage genovese pizza! Otherwise love Gia Mia, we go nearly every other week.
