Gibsons Bar Steakhouse Oak Brook

Gibson's food and service is near legendary for its being consistently best in class. This evening was no exception to that well deserved reputation. HOWEVER ... what is sometimes overlooked is the Gibsons special touch for special occasions which this was. Briefly celebrating a special anniversary and requested a little attention to a few details. Done! Our request was addressed by two managers (Jonathan (from home on his day off! and Christina on site , the hostess, and our server (Karen ... of the best in the business! Result? Great dinner, great evening, and of course, a very nice touch for the special anniversary. Thanks to all!

Roberto the waiter was fabulous. The food measured up especially well. We have dined at Gibson 's Oakbrook many times. This was the best experience in every way. I can 't call it a value , but the pricing is fair compared to similar restaurants. We dine at high end places a lot. Gibson 's in priced fairly for what they deliver. We were very happy. Again Roberto was superb. He made a big difference.

Service was “over the top”good. We shared a shrimp appetizer, all had salads and split a prime rib entree and I enjoyed a hamburger. Sides of creamed spinach and hash browns were excellent. Complementary dessert due to a bday. Very nice touch.
